Kampala Evangelical School of Theology (KEST) is an indigenous Interdenominational evangelical institution in Uganda the heart of Africa, with 20 years of equipping pastors and other professionals in evangelical theology and pastoral
training. KEST is dedicated to training pastors and Christian workers who want to serve the Lord. KEST has a commitment to developing an authentically Christian and African worldview, lifestyle and culture by contextualizing the gospel and Biblical truths in African realities.
KEST is a Christian community and every member upholds high standards of Christian morality. For that reason, every student must undertake courses in Bible, Christian Worldview and Ethics.
The vision of KEST is to see the church reflecting vitality and joy in living out the gospel within the spiritual, socio-economic realities of Africa and to see a society of Christian affect gospel values impersonal, social, political and economical aspects of life.
Center for Advanced Research on Christianity & Culture (CARCC) strives to facilitate critical theological reflection on realities in the contemporary African world in a manner that contributes tot he development of African Christian thought, to encourage and to partner with Christian scholars in research ventures that address the challenges and opportunities which the African world presents, and to provide a forum for networking, sharing, collection, and dissemination of research information and resources in or about Africa that are already available.
