Project VIDEO is a bold new media initiative that focuses on equipping and training ethnic evangelists in Asia to proclaim the gospel through video in their own language. It was founded by Don & Pam Leonard, who have been members of Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1982.They developed the mission strategy used in Project VIDEO known as “God’s Two Carabao.” To learn more, download “Carabao & Cameras” by Don & Pam Leonard
The first five video production centers that Project VIDEO helped develop target the LISU, KAREN, AKHA and LAHU people groups living in five SE Asian countries. Collectively, they total more than 10 million people with future partnerships with other ethnicities in development. The expansion of these production centers has created a need for a full-time Asian Field Coordinator who can provide on-the-job training to local producers and coordinate strategic services between the MINISTRY and MISSION carabao. The Asian Field Coordinator Ministry Fund will be used to cover the costs of TRAINING the ethnic producers who staff the growing number of Project VIDEO production centers in Asia. These costs fall into four categories:
- Local staff
The vision of the Asian Field Coordinator is “to see the birth of a movement of ethnic media centers spreading through the unreached areas of Asia.” It’s a vision worth investing in!
