Pastor John Ndahiro
Pastor John Ndahiro is the founder of Alive Passion Church in Bugesera, planted in 2018 alongside his wife, Grace, and their son, Ethan. The church grew rapidly and became a source of hope in the community. However, in 2024, government regulations led to the closure of church buildings, presenting a major challenge to the ministry.
Despite this setback, Pastor John continued his mission with unwavering faith. He shifted focus to outreach and discipleship—raising funds to provide Bibles for those who could not afford them, training fellow pastors, and building strong small-group communities. He also invested in training small group leaders and facilitators to sustain and expand the work.
Beyond preaching, his ministry is deeply rooted in practical acts of love. In the Bugesera community, he advocates for children to access school fees and scholastic materials, supports malnourished children with food, provides shelter for the elderly, and empowers teenage mothers by giving them sewing machines. He has also introduced piglet projects to help families generate income and build sustainable livelihoods. For Pastor John, this is more than ministry—it is his passion. He serves with great joy, believing this is the work the Lord has called him to do, all for the glory of His name.
