For years I was a New Age practitioner. I worked as a medium, an energy healer and a channel, and I led others in the same practices. I was completely convinced that I was serving God, and I was giving my life to what I believed was spiritual truth. In 2018, while watching a testimony on YouTube, Jesus granted me mercy and opened my eyes: I was not serving him at all. I was leading people astray. I repented, walked away from everything, and went back to the people I had led and told them the truth. Over twenty of them have since come to Christ and been baptised.
Malkosh Ministry operates in Slovenia, with desired outreach into Europe and the wider Balkans, where counterfeit spirituality, mysticism and superstition are woven into the culture and sit comfortably alongside church attendance.
New Age spirituality, energy healing, channelling and occultism are spreading fast, especially among younger people and spiritually hungry seekers with little connection to biblical Christianity. These movements present themselves as benign, holistic, even compatible with faith in God. Many of the people inside them are sincere.
The Church here is largely unprepared to respond. Leaders either don’t realise how widespread these movements are, or dismiss them as harmless without grasping what is happening spiritually. Almost no ministry in this region addresses New Age and occult bondage from a biblical, experiential standpoint.
I work within three pillars:
Reach. Reaching people caught in counterfeit spirituality (New Age and occult deception). These are people who genuinely believe they are serving God or pursuing spiritual growth, not realising they are in bondage. I walk with them into freedom in Christ.
Equip. Training churches and leaders to recognise counterfeit spirituality, respond to it biblically rather than fearfully, and minister freedom to the people already in their care.
Multiply. Equipping individual believers to recognise the counterfeit and lead others into the same freedom.
