Serving in Moravian Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, Paul and Kristýna Tillovi are revitalizing a small congregation of believers and seeking to reach their town with the good news of the Gospel. Paul moved to the Czech Republic at the age of eight with his parents, who have faithfully served at the Christian high school, Beskydy Mountain Academy, since 2004. It was at this school that Paul met Kristýna, to whom he is now happily married. Paul is an ordained pastor in the Czech Evangelical denomination Církev bratrská.
Kristýna was born in Frenštát to Czech parents and was led to Christ by her grandmother as a girl. Today, she lives and serves in her hometown, with a heart for ministering to women—especially other young mothers in the area. Paul and Kristýna are the proud parents of three wonderful children: Elizabeth, Homer, and Charles.
Supported by their sending church in nearby Frýdlant, the small fellowship reaches about thirty people weekly. Paul and Kristýna lead Bible studies, outdoor evangelism, and Sunday worship services. Paul views the long-term strategy of their ministry as rooted in the many deep relationships that congregation members have with families and individuals throughout Frenštát. Currently, their focus is on encouraging and empowering a team of approximately fifteen competent and passionate members in evangelism, discipling, and leadership. The Tills look forward to building a healthy, welcoming, and loving community where inviting friends and sharing the Gospel feels natural and joyful.
