The African Youth Arising (AYA) initiative assists the church in its mission to edify members of the body of Christ, particularly the youths, and extends that mission through sharing the love of God and caring for young people in the community. AYA is conscious of the hopelessness that reigns among young people in the city of Douala in Cameroon and in Africa. Street children and at-risk youth are at the center of our concern. Thus, AYA hopes to walk alongside these young people, helping them rise with a renewed hope in God and in a better future.
