GoodSports first came to Hungary in 1997, and remains a very active region to this day.
Our team is made up entirely of Hungarian Christians who have a passion for sharing Jesus. We have an Obstacle Course Racing team, after school tutoring and programs for the youth in impoverished areas, and we are welcomed into 8 state run children’s homes where we share the Gospel and disciple the youth who have made a decision for Christ.
God opened the doors for us to expand our ministry with the GreatHouse program. Youth who have grown up in the state run children’s homes have a hard time transitioning into independent, adult life, when they age out. Our team steps in to help with a mentorship program for basic life skills such as: resume writing, interviewing, maintaining a job, budgeting, personal finance, cooking, and cleaning, etc.
We also host summer camps where people from around the world come out to spend a week with the kids we minister to year-round.
