Goshen's Fountain of Nutrition and Health
Goshen’s Fountain of Nutrition & Health is a not-for-profit organization located in a small village of Nasuuti, Mukono District, Uganda. Goshen’s is a ministry with a unique call of serving God’s people in the field of Nutrition, Health, economic empowerment most especially the adolescent girls and low-income women.
In Mathew 25:35, our Lord Jesus Christ in his own words says, “For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in”. Goshen’s wants to walk in the footsteps of Jesus who went out helping the children, orphans, women, windows and generally the disadvantaged within the communities.
In the efforts to offer services to the vulnerable we shall be fulfilling our God given mandate of serving his people irrespective of color, age, religious background, economic status and gender. In so doing we shall be extending God’s love to them.
In all our services, our strong emphasis is on the children, pregnant & breastfeeding mothers, seniors, low income women, the chronically ill, and people with special abilities.
As an organization we believe in scaling out sustainable solutions to humanity’s challenges majorly through knowledge transfers, trainings and economic empowerment for the most vulnerable groups of the communities.
We are trusting God to scale up the services of the Nurturing Care Center which will be a one stop service center. The Nurturing care center will be a permanent home for Goshen’s to function and be a base for many of our community engagements.
The goal of the nurturing care center is to be a place where people can
receive advanced medical care for malnutrition and other associated problems. Another function of the Nurturing Care Center is to have a large community garden on the property where we can have crops and animals to share with the community. People will also get trainings in gardening, skills, making of nutritious mixtures from the center
