Bill and Bobbie Trenckmann
Bill and Bobbie began full-time work in youth and adult ministries in 1970, serving in various churches until 2006. At that time they led an in-depth discipleship program in Rwanda for adult believers, and then equipped and mentored adult leaders in Romania before returning to their home in Idaho. In 2016, with a continuing vision and passion of equipping youth leaders, they began doing this work in the northwest. In due time the ministry expanded to training teachers of all age levels in the skill of facilitating discussion based Bible studies for Sunday School, small groups, and youth meetings, as well as consulting with elder boards.
They returned to Rwanda in July 2024 for 6 weeks to train leaders in Youth Ministry Philosophy, Strategy, Methodology and Biblical Content. They returned to Rwanda in April 2025 for 8 weeks to complete the courses, graduating some 54 leaders. In addition, 10 pastors and their 75+ facilitators from rural churches, that had been closed by the government, completed a 7 week course in Small Group Leadership, focussed on developing discussion-based Bible Studies. They will continue to provide these training courses on an on-going basis.
