Regain Hope (Prison Ministry)
Being in prison can be a lonely, challenging and emotionally devastating experience for many, no matter what might have sent them there. Regain Hope reaches out to inmates and makes them feel loved, accepted and wanted. We share and discuss the Gospel with them, listen to them, feel their needs and share food items, books and other resources with them. We also support the officers. Every year, we do a Warm Meal Party where we serve a warm local dish of Fufu with goat light soup and Banku with okro stew made with chicken with them. You should see them help with pounding the Fufu – having a feel of home!
Reaching out to inmates has been a joy for us when we engage with them and see the smiles on their faces. We are there with them throughout the year and they know our faces. We want to follow up on them after they are discharged to find ways to engage communities for their effective reintegration. Thank you for your PRAYER, FINANCIAL SUPPORT and PARTNERSHIP. May the Lord reward you abundantly.
Rev. Prof. Ivy Drafor Amenyah and the Advisory Board are delighted to have you partner with us!
