Rising Neighbors (formerly Inzira: Agape) is an expression of God’s love to neighbors in Muhanga, Rwanda. Through prayer, advice, and connection to local resources, our little team works to create a pathway of agape love to people struggling with poverty.
Centered on principles of helping without hurting, Rising Neighbors offers Bible study, counseling connections, open hours for listening and prayer, assistance with practical needs, a small education assistance program, and health insurance assistance. Our connections with local churches brings community collaboration as we seek to offer whole-life support on neighbors’ journeys to rise from poverty.
Our start-up business, Culture Ways, aims to generate income for Rising Neighbors. Culture Ways serves international visitors/ residents and their Rwandan counterparts, providing cross-cultural classes and services for preparation, orientation, adaptation, integration, and participation in service to neighbors.
