Our family’s ministry is centered on Christian faith integrated with higher education in an international context. I (Todd John Wallenius) am a missional professor at Handong Global University, an international university with a solid Christian identity located in Pohang, South Korea. I teach courses in leadership, ethics, and Christian education with students from all over the world. Most of the students are Christian, however, some are not, which provides opportunities for both discipleship as well as evangelism. Through the courses I teach and extracurricular engagements with students, I aim to advance the Kingdom of God and build up the global church.

Secondly, our family is actively serving as missionaries with Heaven Church, a Korean church in Geumgu, a relatively remote area outside of the city of Jeonju, South Korea. We are working to build the church through prayer, discipleship of youth church members, and meaningful contributions to community life. The church is small but powerful, with a strong heart for impacting the local area and reaching the world through global missions.
