The Cambridge Centre for Christianity Worldwide is a research and teaching centre in Cambridge, England dedicated to study, reflection, and practical engagement with the global nature of Christianity in the twenty-first century.
We base all our work on the principle of ‘Church – Mission – Academy,’ seeking to connect all three.
In our research programmes and doctoral degrees, we support scholars from around the world who are looking for a place to deepen their knowledge and reflect critically on Christianity in its many forms.
In our Intercultural Encounter programme and in our links with churches around the world, we send students and others in Cambridge across the globe to engage with our sisters and brothers in Christ in diverse cultures.
In our library and archives, we encourage students and visitors to dig deep into the history, theology, and contemporary manifestations of global Christianity.
In our various events – seminars, lectures, and other events – we bring elements of the world church to life in Cambridge. Since 1881, our Centre has had a presence in Cambridge, linking a world-class university city with the world church and bringing us all to deeper understanding of one another.
