A center of joy and vocation
There is a vocational crisis in the church today, particularly in France, and in the Western world in general. This center is dedicated to helping people discover, embrace, and live out their vocation or what they have been created to be and do on God’s behalf in this world. As this requires vocational discernment, people are offered vocational coaching, debriefing, spiritual direction, transitional coaching, listening prayer, and training sessions.
A spiritual refuge
Today, our lives tend to be more disconnected from others, our core self, and God than ever. This center is thus a place that builds up the capacity for joy in “reconnection” through the experience of hospitality, a rule of life, spiritual retreats, daily prayers and worship, listening prayer, and soul care sessions.
Creative space
Helping others embrace their vocation requires researching and creating tools that can inspire, kindle longings, or raise awareness of important issues. Therefore, we welcome scholars, songwriters and musicians, writers, and other groups of “congruence” (people having similar callings) and help them create tools for their ministry and specific callings.
Spiritual conversation/ Evangelism
60% of the French people long to have spiritual conversations, but they can’t find anyone trustworthy enough to talk to. Throughout our ministry and church planting years, we have experienced that a “soul friendship” approach breaks down defenses and non-believers enter more freely and safely into spiritual conversations.
This center has welcomed during the last two years and number of individuals and families who were able to reconstruct essential elements of their life to better discern their place in the economy of the kingdom. We are preparing now to enlarge this center by moving to a bigger space in the Alps in the near future.
